Here’s a short article about the Carrollton High – Avondale game tonight.  Avondale is riding a three-game winning streak dating back to last year and is trying to revive the glory days of 20 years ago when the school fielded title contenders on a regular basis and their home stadium, Death Valley, was not known as a fun place for visiting teams.  Coach Mike Carson and staff seemed to have turned the corner and this should be their biggest test yet.
